“I love to find old things, and bring back their beauty & usefulness; it’s saving our history. Celebrating the talent and joy that every vendor puts into this and other creative endeavors is what makes up A Touch of Rust Vintage Market.” – Cori
A Touch of Rust Vintage Market is the story of a small town gal who’s done good!
We are honored to be featured as one of “6 Top Holiday Markets” by Flea Market Decor Magazine (Holiday edition, 2018). We were also included in Voyage Dallas’ “Most Inspiring Stories” series in November of 2018.
Rust, Dust, & History
I started this adventure in my home town of Decatur,Texas, literally across the street from where I grew up. It started out as a hobby, that grew into a bit of an obsession, and finally into a family business. Yet the basis for doing it remains the same; I love to find old things, and bring back their beauty and usefulness. Every piece that is reloved, restored or repurposed is a part of our history saved from the landfills. Celebrating the creativity, talent, and joy that every vendor puts into this and other creative endeavors is what makes up A Touch of Rust Vintage Market. (To learn more about our awesome vendors, check out the blog.)
For the same reason I’ll oooh and ahhh over a rusty windmill, I love places with a little bit of rust, dust, and history. My favorite venue is a dirt floor barn. (There’s nothing wrong with a little dust on your boots!) The Wise County Fairgrounds is the perfect venue for this event; a little rustic charm, a lot of space, and a chance to go back home every year.
A Little Love

Our Markets are held in March and November every year. So grab a friend or ten and come shopping! Spend the day poking around some great booths, find a few treasures, and grab some kettle corn. And be sure to get your picture with Vera Jo. We’ll see ya there!
