BOOTH LOCATION : Booth assignments are management decisions. Booth requests may be made after participating in your first show and should be noted on your registration. When booth assignments are made category, booth size, seniority, date received, and availability are taken into consideration. We DO NOT guarantee requests. NO booth assignments will be changed after assignments are published.
ELECTRICITY: Electricity will be available at each show. Additional lighting and extension cords for booths are vendor’s own responsibility. Heavy duty extension cords are a necessity when electricity is used, so come prepared with 100 feet of heavy duty cord and one or more three way plugs. Vendors must tape down all electric cords on the floor for patron’s protection. Buildings have adequate lighting.
GOODS SOLD: New product lines added to your booth after you have been juried must be approved before the event date on the contract. Please do not bring merchandise for which you have not been approved. Please remember that direct sales items are not allowed at the show.
CONFIRMATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS: Booth space will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis by category and availability. Booth space may not be transferred to another vendor without Host approval. Your electronic payment receipt will serve as confirmation of your booth space, no paper confirmation will be mailed to you. Cancellations must be emailed to [email protected] 30 days prior to event date to retain eligibility for future shows. Cancellations made by text, Messenger, or FB will not qualify as a cancellation notice. Booth fees and deposits are non-refundable.
FIRE PREVENTION: A city ordinance prohibits smoking in all buildings. No burning of candles or any open flames.
PAYMENT: We do not accept personal checks. You must pay securely online with a credit or debit card. We use Squareup’s secure servers for all transactions. If you do not have a personal/business card, you may purchase a Visa gift card at most major retailers for use as a payment means through our online system.
NO SUBLEASING OR SELLING OF BOOTH: All contracts must be submitted by the person who has been approved for the show and has received the contract. You may not sublease or sell your booth space to someone else. When selling your business, your space in our show should not be considered a part of the sale. The new owner must apply to A Touch of Rust and be approved by our jury committee.
SHARING: Two vendors (each owning their own business) sharing a booth must complete one contract under a single vendor name. Application should include both vendor’s products. Each vendor’s products must be approved separately by the host. Displays must be complimentary and compatible with each other. Select one person to send in the booth fees and then continue to keep all records in that person’s name to avoid confusion.
FOOD: Anyone selling food products must have insurance verification, any permits or licenses required by the Health Department and the Fire Marshall. In all cases, all permits, licenses, insurance and booth fees are the complete responsibility of the individual exhibitor/owner (not an employee of owner) and copies of all permits must be submitted to show management when requested. Failure to meet legal requirements does not relieve you of your contractual obligation to A Touch of Rust Market.
PETS:No animals are allowed during set-up or event, with the exception of registered service animals, as defined by the ADA.
CHECK-IN: Check-in is Friday from 10a to 7p. If you are not checked in by 7P, your space will be offered to another vendor.
LOAD-IN: The building will be open from 10am through 8pm Friday, and 7A -850A Saturday for last minute carry-in items on show day. Each vendor is responsible for display equipment and setting up displays within the exact boundaries of your booth. It is a good idea to have a dolly available for loading and unloading merchandise, as we do not provide loading equipment.
FAILURE TO OCCUPY BOOTH SPACE: Failure to show up at a reserved show without notice will forfeit all future reservations with no refund, and renders you ineligible for any future events.
SHOW HOURS: Show hours are 9A to 4A. Saturday. We advertise these hours for the event. Come prepared to set up until closing time. Early departure is not acceptable and may forfeit your reservation and eligibility for future shows. The Event has advertised hours and as professionals, we expect vendors to respect that. Show management reserves the right to make exceptions in emergency situations.
LOAD-OUT ON SATURDAY: Early tear-down is not permitted and trailers will not have access to the barns until the show ends at 4P. Show management will be available until 6P on Saturday. You must vacate the venue premises by 6P.
SALES TAX: All vendors must have a Sales Tax ID to participate in the show, with the exception of service vendors who do not sell durable goods. We are a for-profit market and as such, we do not qualify as a place where Cottage industry is allowed. Cottage industry vendors are welcome to participate, but will require a Sales tax ID & appropriate permits.
PARKING/TRAFFIC CONTROL: No vehicles may be parked in front of any doors except for loading or unloading. Do not park in front of the buildings during show hours. Do not park in areas designated for Handicapped Parking, or in the Pedestrian area. Trailers or vehicles left inside the pedestrian & handicapped parking area are subject to tow at vendor’s expense.
EXHIBITOR SELLING APPAREL: We encourage those vendors selling clothing to have a dressing room in their booth for customers. Vendors will not be allowed to send customers to the restrooms to try on clothing. This can cause long lines at the restrooms, which is not fair to the public and is not practical for other vendors with limited time away from their own booths.
SECURITY: Security is on site overnight on Friday, and throughout the event on Saturday. However, we are not responsible for trailers or merchandise in them. Please ensure both doors and hitches are locked.
SOLICITING: Solicitation for vendor participation in forthcoming shows by other promoters is allowed at the show but should not disrupt vendors or the show, and should never be considered as an endorsement in any way by A Touch of Rust. Please notify Host if you are aware of any issues with event solicitors in the buildings. If, as a vendor, you have an upcoming show, you may certainly promote the show with postcards or placards (not to exceed 8.5×11″) in your booth.
SHOW MANAGEMENT RIGHTS: Liability Statement is on your contract, please read carefully before agreeing. Show management reserves the right to enforce and/or interpret the Rules and Regulations and make final judgement without exception. Vendors agree to comply with show policies, rules and regulations, and terms and conditions as stated herein and in the Contract. Show management reserves the right to restrict, modify or expel without refund any exhibit that it deems undesirable or not in compliance with these rules.
