Today I want ya’ll to meet Jim & Brenda Geisler of Texas Tin Works. I call them my unofficial ambassadors because they have referred so many great vendors to A Touch of Rust Vintage Market! This awesome couple has been with us since the beginning and has vended at every event in Decatur, Tx. Be sure to stop by their booth in the Rabbit Barn during this year’s Holiday Event, they always have the coolest junk!
Jim & Brenda’s junker story
My wife and I started Texas Tin Works a little over 5 yrs ago in hopes to make a little extra money. We quickly realized that it was So much more. It is about the the “Show Family” of gypsy vendors and promoters. A Touch of Rust Vintage Market is a great part of that. Every show we do we look forward to seeing the return customers that follow us from venue to venue, and our crazy vendor friends that are so important to us.
Texas Tin Works started so small, with mostly punched tin art. We have grown through so many phases and trends. Rusty junk and refinished furniture has become our staple products. At the fall shows we try to bring in metal yard art as well. We are already working on handmade items for our fall and holiday shows. We can’t wait to be back at A Touch of Rust. It is traditionally our favorite two shows every year!
And here’s a sneak peek at all the Holiday goodies Texas Tin Works will have at our Holiday Event! Be sure to save the date: Decatur, Tx on Nov 17th at the Wise County Fairgrounds. Brenda & Jim will join over 150 vendors bringing handmade, crafted, junker, and vintage goods. So grab a friend or ten and come get your Christmas shopping done early!
